I haven't decided for sure who I'm voting for yet, let me make that clear off the bat. I have an idea in mind, but I guess I'm waiting for someone better than the options I've been offered at this point.
However, I am really sick of all the 'pro-black' propaganda that Obama is throwing around. I think it's wonderful and liberating that a black candidate has made it to the nomination point of the presidency, however, I feel like much of it is blantant disrespect. The fact is: Obama is just as much white as he is black, his mom was white. All you ever hear him talk about is his black father and their african heritage. That's wonderful except I would have trouble having respect for a 'father' who abandoned me. He was raised by his white grandparents, but you never hear anything about that. No respect for the people who raised him after his dad failed to step up to the plate.

Yeah, I agree. As usual. Ranks right up there with him talking about his mother being on food stamps. She may have been but he was being raised by his grandparents and attending private school. Not like he's had any experience with being poor OR black. IMHO
