Sorry, this is the political post...

I just read such an amazing article I had to blog about it. I will be the first to say that I think GW has made some very bad decisions since he's been in office, however, he has based those decisions on bad intelligence. We do it every day, we base our decisions on what we know and what we hear to be true. Anyway, Ann Coulter was talking in this article about how we felt on Sept 12, 2001. How many of us really thought that we could go 7 years without another terrorist attack on our soil? That in itself is pretty impressive.

I totally agree. I remember how scary it was on 9/11. Schools let out early. My kids were 6 and 8, and they were convinced that the bad guys were going to drop bombs on North Laurel Elementary. We just knew we were next. I'm sure that feeling was pretty much universal. Even my bleeding liberal family expressed the same fears. When you look at what hasn't happened, it make GW look like an angel.
